Evergreen shipboard foam filled fenders are designed for quick and convenient use, easy to move and install, get popular in yachts and small size ships berthing.
Construction Features
A. Foam core is closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene foam and being homogeneous.
B. Outer fender skin is 1-1/4 inch thick and constructed of elastomer and reinforcing wraps . Reinforcing consist of separate filament reinforcing wraps evenly distributed in the inner 75 percent to 90 percent of the skin thickness. The elastomer used in the fender skin is PTMEG (poly-tetramethylene ether glycol) polyether urethane elastomer, formulated to inhibit ultraviolet degradation.
C. Optional fittings and design types are available as per clients’ requirement.
